Our spacious, full-hookup sites give your (leashed) pets room to enjoy the outdoors right at your doorstep. And with a community of pet owners already here, your dog will have plenty of company.
Pet-Friendly Features at Homebound Bushnell
- Fenced Dog Run: A dedicated, enclosed area where dogs can run off-leash and play safely. Guests are expected to pick up after their dogs while using the fenced dog run.
- Breed Restrictions: Breed restrictions apply to dogs. We welcome eligible pets and ask that you contact us before booking to confirm your pet meets our current policy.
- No Pet Fee: Many parks charge $5 to $15 per night per pet. At Homebound, there is no extra charge. Bring your pet at no additional cost.
- Spacious Sites: Our full-hookup sites give you and your pets room to spread out. You are not crammed into a narrow pad with no green space.
- Pet-Owning Community: Many of our long-term and seasonal residents have dogs and cats. Your pet will have neighbors and walking companions.
- Nearby Walking Areas: The Bushnell area offers open space and quiet roads for walks. Dade Battlefield Historic State Park is also nearby for longer outings.
Simple Pet Guidelines
We keep our pet policies simple and reasonable so everyone, pets and people, can enjoy the park:
- Pets must be leashed when outside the fenced dog run area
- Pick up after your pet throughout the park
- Keep vaccinations current
- Pets should never be left unattended
- Be considerate of noise, especially during quiet hours
These guidelines are about being good neighbors. Most pet owners already follow them naturally. The dog run gives your pet a place to be off-leash.
